Role / Client Service Specialist
Hiring a Client Service Specialist
The senior end of client service, where the role runs process rather than just working through it. Permanent, direct-hire placements nationwide.
How it differs
Owns the
process
The titles get used interchangeably, so it is worth being precise on the intake call. An associate works the client queue. A specialist is usually the person who decides how the queue is run: onboarding steps, account transfers, the annual review cycle, and often training whoever sits below them.
In a practice of eight, that person is load-bearing. Losing them is closer to losing an operations manager than losing an administrator.
What to look for
Judgment
under a
client’s gaze
The specialist is the one who decides whether something gets escalated to the advisor or handled quietly. Too cautious and the advisor drowns in small decisions. Too confident and a client hears the wrong answer with authority behind it.
Standard is the usual fit when you do not have your own assessment tools. If you want the fullest picture before a file reaches you, Elite adds skills assessments and matching against your existing team, which is worth it when you want that read before anyone reaches you.
